Depth Jump + Skater Jump + Sprinter's Jump

Lateral explosiveness is paramount for athletic development and agility. Loading from a box in accordance to ground contact allows for a more challenging transition from the sagittal plane to the frontal plane. Athlete’s should be mindful in including plyometric sequences that incorporate multiple layers of skill related fitness. Vertical jump alone is simply not sufficient for preventing many sport related injuries. Youth and professional alike must obtain the ability to load, redirect and change direction on the forefoot without excessive rotation of the knee joint. This is accomplished through extensive knowledge of kinesiology and correct principles of mobility and biomechanics. Try it for 3 sets of 3 on each leg!
