Monster Band Plate Lunges

Don’t knock this before you try it. The monster bands and suspended weight put an insane amount of challenge into core stability and sagittal plane balance. Before heavy split squats, reverse lunges, or Zercher lunges, I may load this up to about a plate or 55lbs on each side for 3 sets of 4. What follows after you strip the bar down and put normal plates back on is astounding. Weighing in around 195, the last time I warmed up with this I was able to put 295lbs on the bar and complete for reverse lunges.
